Until now, getting a portfolio in meant a CSV. Broker sync connects the account itself, so a fresh sync is one click.
Link once, sync any time
You sign in to your broker on the aggregator's own page, so your broker password never passes through Squirrel Stocks. Afterwards the Connected card offers Sync now, which re-reads your positions without asking you to log in again.
One provider, many brokers
The connection goes through SnapTrade, which covers more than fifty brokers, including Fidelity, Schwab, Robinhood, Webull and E*Trade. Earlier the code carried separate connections for four brokers that were never switched on. They were removed on 26 August, and because SnapTrade already reaches those brokers nothing was lost.
CSV is still there
The importer for spreadsheets and broker statements was rebuilt in the same month, so you can fix the columns it guessed wrong before anything is added.
