A rebuilt Portfolio page: the one place you add things

Your net worth at the top, every source of data in one row, holdings grouped by asset class, and a single drawer for adding anything. The dashboard now only displays.

Adding things used to happen in several places: the Portfolio page for shares, a widget for cash, another for property and debts. The rule now is simple — everything is entered on Portfolio, and the dashboard shows it.

Net worth and where it's held

The top of the page shows your net worth with a bar splitting it across asset classes: stocks and funds, cash, crypto, property, pensions, bonds, precious metals, collectible cards and other assets. Click a class in the legend to filter the list to it.

Where your numbers come from

A row of source cards shows what is connected — broker, bank, wallets — and what you typed in. Connected sources refresh on their own; imported and typed values stay exactly as you left them until you change them.

One drawer for adding anything

"Add an asset" opens a panel with every route in one place: connect a broker or bank, watch a wallet address, search for a stock, import a CSV, search for a card, or type in a value for a home, pension or car.

Property as equity

Portfolio shows a property as equity — its value less the mortgage secured on it — and lists only your other debts separately. The dashboard's Balance Sheet counts the property at full value with the mortgage as a liability. The two views arrive at the same net worth; they just organise it differently.

A nudge when a value has gone stale

Anything you typed in and haven't updated for over three months is flagged as worth a refresh, since your net worth leans on it. Sold and zero-value holdings can be hidden or shown with one toggle, which tells you how many it's hiding.

Read-only widgets on the dashboard

Cash, Total Assets and Liabilities no longer have their own entry forms. Each one links to "Manage on Portfolio" instead. The fixed "Suggestions" box on the old desktop page, which wasn't reading your holdings, is gone.
