IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Whether the fund pays out monthly, every quarter, twice a year or once a year.
FULL DEFINITION
How often a fund pays out its income, judged from its recent payment history.
EXAMPLE
Payments about 91 days apart read as Quarterly.
HOW IT'S CALCULATED
Worked out by the app from the payment history it holds. It takes the gaps between the latest nine payments, ignoring any under a week (a special paid next to a regular one), and uses the middle one. Up to 45 days reads Monthly, up to 135 Quarterly, up to 270 Twice a year, and longer Yearly. Shows N/A with fewer than two payments, or when the latest is more than about 13 months old.
