IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Comparison grid of fair value versus current price. Stocks use their discounted cash flow (DCF) fair value per share. Crypto, precious metals, collectible cards, property, pensions, bonds and other assets are compared, as a whole holding, with either a fair value you set yourself on the Portfolio page or — set to Market reference — a market reference where one exists: a card's 90-day average price, or a UK property's price carried forward by its local house price index.
WHY IT HELPS
Surfaces discounts and overvaluation quickly, across everything you own that you have a view on.
HOW IT'S CALCULATED
Gap = fair value - price; gap percent = gap / price. Values are normalized to portfolio currency. For stocks the price is one share; for every other asset class it is the whole holding's value today (property before its mortgage). With Your estimate the fair value is the figure you set, not ours; an estimate typed in under another currency is flagged, not converted. With Market reference, a card's is its average market price over the last 90 days × copies (Card Market Reference) and a linked UK property's is what you paid, or your last value, × the local House Price Index now ÷ the index then (Indexed Property Value); crypto, metals, pensions, bonds and other assets have none. A row with no fair value, or not priced yet, shows No Data. Each card's ⓘ names the figure it uses.
