Until now the three Targets widgets looked at your shares and nothing else. Someone whose wealth is half property and a fifth cash could set a goal for their dividends but not for the thing they were actually trying to grow. All three now reach across the whole balance sheet.
Smart Alerts on the whole balance sheet
Alongside price and yield alerts on a holding, you can now set a rule on net worth, total assets, total liabilities, debt to assets, or any single asset class โ either its value or its share of everything you own. There are also price rules for gold, silver, platinum and palladium, per troy ounce.
Goals for anything you own or owe
Set a target value for any asset class, or for net worth. A goal on your debts works the other way round โ it's a pay-down goal, and progress is measured from what you owed on the day you set it.
Rebalancing by asset class
The Rebalancing widget can switch from sectors to asset classes, measured against a target split you set for the whole balance sheet (the Pie Chart can now show that target split too). Property and pensions can't be trimmed on a whim, so their rows say "over by" or "under by" rather than suggesting a trade.
Nothing fires on a half-loaded number
A net worth that's missing a wallet still loading would look like a sudden drop and trip a "below" alert. So every rule waits until each source it depends on has finished loading: an alert stays quiet, a goal shows a dash, and Rebalancing says it's waiting.
Cash interest in the Income Planner
The Income Planner has an optional "Include estimated cash interest" setting, off by default. It adds the yearly interest on savings accounts where you've entered both a balance and a rate. It counts towards your progress figure only โ the dividend bars stay dividends.
