Dividend tracker

A dividend tracker for the shares and funds you already hold

The dividend tracker is part of Squirrel's portfolio tracker. Add the shares and funds you hold and it shows their dividends: the ex-dividend dates coming up, the payments companies have announced and the history behind them, in the same view as everything else you own.

How you add it

  1. From the holdings you add

Dividends follow the shares and funds in your portfolio, however you add them: link a broker, import a CSV or type them in.

    Portfolio tracker
  2. Dated to what you held

Each holding's dividends are matched to the shares you held before its ex-dividend date, so the calendar reflects your own holdings rather than a share count today.

What you see

  • A dividend calendar

Upcoming ex-dividend dates and payment dates for what you hold, laid out by month.

  • Payments by month

The dividends you are due, month by month. Where a company hasn't announced a payment yet, the figure is an estimate from its past pattern and is labelled as one.

  • Each holding's history

The dividends a share or fund has paid before, open from its row in your portfolio.

  • Pounds, not pence

London-listed dividends are quoted in pence; Squirrel converts them, and dividends paid in other currencies, into the currency you choose.

Why one place

Dividend dates and amounts are scattered across company announcements and broker statements. Squirrel collects them for the holdings you track, so you can see what is due without piecing it together by hand.

Questions

Does Squirrel tell me which dividend shares to buy?
No. It shows the dividends of what you already hold. It doesn't recommend shares, rank them by yield or tell you what to buy, sell or hold.
Where does the dividend data come from?
From market data providers, refreshed daily for every holding. Announced payments are shown as announced; anything not yet announced is marked as an estimate.
Do I need a separate app for dividends?
No. The dividend tracker is part of the portfolio tracker, so the dividends appear as soon as your holdings are in.
Is Squirrel a broker?
No. Squirrel only tracks what you own. It never buys, sells or holds anything for you.
