Stock portfolio tracker

A stock portfolio tracker for every account you hold

Add the shares, ETFs, investment trusts and funds you hold in an ISA, a SIPP or a general account, from as many brokers as you use. Prices refresh through the day, and your portfolio sits in the same net worth view as your cash, pensions, property and everything else you own.

Free forever on Learner. Investor features free for 2 months, no card needed.

How you add it

  1. Link a broker

Connect a brokerage account through SnapTrade, the aggregator Squirrel uses, and its holdings keep themselves up to date. Linking comes with the Investor plan, which is free for your first two months.

  2. Import a CSV

Export your trades or positions from any broker and upload the file. Every row appears in a grid you can edit before anything is saved. Import is an Investor feature too.

  3. Add it by hand

Search for a holding by name or ticker, then enter how many shares you hold and what you paid. The free plan holds up to ten stocks, added this way.

What you see

  • Every holding in one table

What each holding is worth today, what you paid for it and which account it sits in, in the currency you choose.

  • Where your money sits

Your portfolio split by sector, by region and by asset class, with funds broken down by what they hold inside.

  • The dividends you're due

A calendar of upcoming ex-dividend dates and payments for the shares and funds you own.

    Dividend tracker
  • A dashboard you arrange

Pick widgets such as charts, tables, goals and alerts, and lay them out the way you want to read them.

Why one place

With more than one account, the picture ends up split across a spreadsheet and a handful of broker apps, each showing a part of it. Squirrel puts every account, and everything else you own, in one view, so you can see the whole of it without logging in to five places.

Questions

Do I have to link my broker?
No. You can import a CSV or add holdings by hand instead, and mix all three. Linking is optional and comes with the Investor plan.
Is Squirrel a broker?
No. Squirrel is a tracking tool. It never buys, sells or holds shares or money for you. To buy or sell anything, you use your own broker.
Can I keep my ISA and SIPP separate?
Yes. Each holding can be tagged with the account it sits in, such as an ISA, a SIPP or a general account.
Which currencies does it handle?
Holdings priced in pounds, pence, dollars, euros and other major currencies, converted into the currency you choose to see your portfolio in.
