Asset Detail Modal

IN PLAIN ENGLISH

A deep dive for a collectible card, a precious metal, a crypto balance or a crypto wallet — what the stock modal is to a share or an ETF. Open it from the Portfolio page by selecting the row. A card shows your copies and cost, the market price of your printing against its record high and low, the other printings, and the price over time. A metal shows its fine weight, what an ounce cost you against what it is worth, its day and 52-week range, its averages, record high and price moves. A coin typed in with its quantity shows its market cap, supply, record prices and a year of prices; a wallet shows its tokens, chains and NFT collections.

WHY IT HELPS

Gives each of these assets the same depth of context a share gets, so you can see how the price has moved and where it stands against its history before deciding what to do.

HOW IT'S CALCULATED

Cost per unit is what you paid divided by the copies, coins or fine ounces held. A price move is the latest price divided by the price at the start of the window, minus one, measured in US dollars so the exchange rate cancels out. Market move since you bought uses the price on your buy date. Distance from a record is the price divided by the record, minus one; the marker is the price's place between the record low and high. A token's share of a wallet is its value divided by the wallet's total. A figure with no data behind it is left out, never estimated.
